Pilar Hita
Meet Pilar Hita!
Pilar Hita, RTY-500, offers a yoga practice rooted in functional mobility and overall strength. With a strong focus on inversions and hand balances, she brings a tailored approach to each student, drawing from traditional, comprehensive yoga to meet individual needs through personalized instruction and thoughtful adjustments.
“I simply want to remind people that challenging themselves daily—with purpose and intention—is one of the healthiest and most beneficial things you can do for your brain, soul, and physical body.”
Pilar believes music plays a vital role in a yoga experience, whether guiding a high-intensity class or a restorative practice. At the same time, she honors the power of silence, recognizing its incommensurable value.
With a deep understanding of alignment, anatomy, and breath, Pilar helps her students cultivate greater self-awareness, self-observation and ownership of their personal practice.
In her classes, you’ll find a seamless integration of classical yoga traditions with the dynamic energy of modern movement and fitness culture. Her strength- and power-based classes are challenging, invigorating and high-energy, while her restorative and recovery sessions are known to be grounding, peaceful and conducive of self reflection.
